Be a Drop in the Bucket

Please join us creating a ‘simulated rainstorm’ as a metaphor for community, and as a fun way to help focus attention on the importance of water. Participation in the ‘rain orchestra’ does not require any musical training. For a prototype of the ‘performance concept’ please see this video snippet at:

The event will occur at lunch time (12:30pm) on World Water Day, March 22, 2013 at Heritage Park (corner of Waverley & Homer, Palo Alto, CA).

Here’s the general idea:

— a theme stressing the concept that what you do as a single individual may seem insignificant to you (single drop), but several drops together can fill a bucket or make a rain shower.

—  the vision is to focus awareness and further discourse on what we as individuals and community can do about challenges we currently face re water.

Please feel free to pass this on to others you think might be interested.
